CHERRY HILL, NJ, UNITED STATES, August 11, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- To advance New Jersey’s next generation of women leaders, Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey (GSCSNJ) is hosting its signature leadership program, D.R.I.V.E. HER Forward at Topgolf Mount Laurel on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

Designed specifically for older girls in rising 7th grade through graduating high school seniors, D.R.I.V.E. HER Forward connects teens directly with established business executives, entrepreneurs, and industry experts for professional networking, mentorship, and career exploration.

At the heart of the Girl Scout mission is a commitment to meet girls where they are today, delivering experiences and leadership pathways. By partnering directly with the corporate and business community, GSCSNJ creates real-world learning opportunities where young women can step out of their comfort zones and map out future careers with confidence.

"Preparing girls to step into leadership roles in STEM, media, finance, and trade fields requires work and strong community backing," said Catalina Walsh, GSCSNJ Girl Champion Coordinator. "Girl Scouting is so much more than badges; it’s an organization for personal and workforce development. Through D.R.I.V.E. HER Forward, our corporate partners are directly investing in the future CEOs, innovators, and community leaders who will drive New Jersey’s economy forward."

Keynote Fireside Chat: Inspiring Courage and Authenticity in Media
The event kicks off with a keynote fireside chat featuring two prominent figures in regional media and business leadership:
• Karen Rogers, 6ABC Meteorologist and Journalist
• Marianne Aleardi, President, SJ Mag Media

Interviewed in a fireside chat format, Aleardi and Rogers will share lessons on career transitions, navigating technical industries, leading with confidence, and staying resilient under pressure.

The conversation is designed to spark actionable wisdom before the girls participate in breakouts or "Career Connection Circles" with professionals spanning a dozen or more corporate and regional sectors.

Corporate Sponsorship Driving Local Impact
This work is made possible through the investment of forward-thinking corporate sponsors who recognize the connection between youth development and a strong regional talent pipeline. GSCSNJ proudly acknowledges the generous support of event sponsors:
• Bristol Myers Squibb
• NJM Insurance Group
• Bovio Rubino Service

"Building a strong workforce requires investing in young talent long before they enter the job market." added Angela Rubino-Hines, President Bovio Rubino Services. "Together with Bristol Myers Squibb, and NJM Insurance, we at Bovio Rubino Service are proud to provide young women with networks, visibility, and opportunity to expand their horizons."
