29 APPLY FOR THREE JUDICIAL OPENING IN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY

Florida courts The 11th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission has received 29 applications for a vacancy on the circuit bench and three vacancies on the Miami-Dade County Court created by the elevations of Judges Thomas Rebull, Christina Correa, Elizabeth Espinosa Marin, and Jorge Perez Santiago.

The applicants, in the order received, are:

Judge Eleane Sosa-Bruzon (Circuit)

Stephanie Silver (Circuit)

All applicants are being considered and vetted by the commission for the current vacancies, and the commission may schedule interviews of candidates. Candidates previously interviewed within the past 12 months may be re-interviewed or considered without an additional interview.

All candidates are asked to hold open their availability for possible interviews on Friday, August 28, and Wednesday September 2, at 10 a.m., respectively, at Jones Day, 600 Brickell Avenue in Miami.
